The Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network Presents The First Annual WEEN Awards

The Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network; www.weenonline.org (WEEN) will account award-winning actor, Vivica A. Fox; actor/author Hill Harper; actor/philanthropist Malinda Williams; McDonald’s Chief Global Diversity Officer, Pat Harris; Universal Motown Executive Vice President of Urban Marketing, Shanti Das; and HIV/AIDS activist, Maria Davis at the First Annual WEEN Awards.

Hosts cover ball figure MC Lyte and civic television personality/actor Terrence J. Presenters cover media personalities Angie Martinez, Rocsi, Jeff Johnson, Alesha Renee, Big Tigger and WEEN Chair Valeisha Butterfield. Sponsors cover McDonald’s Corporation, Anheuser-Busch and BET Networks. Scholarships will be accepted to two admirable academy acceptance in the DC across by WEEN and PressReset.me, founded by Shanti Das. Music will be provided by DJ Aasha Adore.
